Why is it important that I am an Institute of Professional Willwriters Fellow Member, because the Institute is founded on two principal aims:-
- To promote the highest standards within the Willwriting profession.
- To protect the interests of their members and the public.
Membership is only available to those who pass the IPW entrance examination or posses an equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognised body.
All members have undergone a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service check (formerly CRB).
All members must hold Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance cover.
All members must undergo regular training to update their knowledge.
In addition, the Institute’s Code of Practice which all members comply with is approved by the Chartered Trading Standards Institute.
