Wills
Making a Will is probably the most important document you will ever create. It is only with a valid Will that you can be sure that loved ones of your choice will inherit your property, possessions and money.
Having a Will allows you to choose Guardians for your children and also to choose Executors and Trustees who you trust.
We recommend that your Will be reviewed regularly, as your personal circumstances may have changed or a change to legislation may also necessitate an update.
What would happen if you died without a Will (intestate)?
It may be that your spouse/civil partner will not inherit the whole of your estate.
Co-habiting partners have no automatic right to inherit any of their partner's estate.
Step-children will not inherit.
The court will decide who should be appointed as Guardian of your children and Executors/Trustees of your estate.
